Certified Reliability Professional Program (CRP
Program)
The Certified Reliability Professional ( CRP )
program is a professional certification program for
reliability engineers. It has been designed to
distinguish professionals who have gained and
successfully demonstrated unquestionable expertise in
the field of reliability engineering.
There are three elements to achieving Reliability
Engineering certification under the CRP program:
Learn, Apply, Present.
Learn
Each
candidate must attend a series of training courses
that cover Reliability Engineering topics geared
toward his/her area of specialization.
Apply
With
guidance from an experienced mentor, each candidate
must devise and undertake a project to apply the
learned body of knowledge in a way that benefits
his/her organization.
Present
Each
candidate must present his/her project experience in
an industry conference and/or journal.
By
addressing each of these elements, candidates earn
the CRP credits that are required to achieve
professional Reliability Engineering certification.
